  21. If you need a soccer ball you may want to try Forge with the Essence
  22. from Apex. Essence will let you create procedural hexagon pattern and
  23. Forge will convert it into bitmaps you can use for bump and color textures
  24. in LW. Forge will also distort the top and bottom of the bitmaps so
  25. they will maintain their shape when spherically mapped onto your ball.
  26. Hows that for a handy utility?
  27. I'm not an Apex rep however I've used Essence procedurals and Understanding
  28. Imagine 2.0 from Steven Worley and Apex and have no doubt that Forge
  29. operates exactly as advertised. 
  30. I haven't picked it up yet as I've expended my software budget but it's
  31. very high on my list!
